Review Policy

I started this blog to review all the books I read; these reviews are also shared on Amazon UK and Goodreads. Recently I have also added an Instagram Account and a Twitter account. I enjoy supporting authors and publishers, including Indie authors.

I would love to hear from publishers and authors, although the following requirements should be noted:

• I will accept books under Mystery and Thrillers, Romance, Contemporary, Women’s Fiction, Young Adult, New Adult and Adult Fiction. I may also review some Non-Fiction books about true crime or business; however, I am pickier about these. Exceptions though possible, are rare.

• I cannot guarantee that all requests will be accepted as I have other commitments and, unfortunately, cannot read ALL the time.

• I will endeavour to respond to your requests, but please accept my sincerest apologies for not taking your book if you do not hear from me for more than one (1) month.

• I prefer eBooks in the .mobi format or physical books. If you have a book in another format, please email me, and I will see if I can accept it.

• After your book has been accepted, please allow three months for me to read and release the review. I will endeavour to review it sooner than this but cannot guarantee this.

• The review will be put on this blog, Goodreads, Amazon UK, and promoted on my Instagram account.

• You can also send your book through Netgalley, where a review will be guaranteed if accepted.

• I aim to produce spoiler-free reviews and feature the blurb, Author information and my review on each blog post alongside a rating. Ratings on my blog are split into three parts (plot, characters and ending), giving a total out of 10. This is converted to the standard 5-star system on all other formats.

• Ratings. I use a score out of 10 on my blog, 10 being the best. An individual score is given for plot, characters and the ending creating an overall score of 10. Odd numbers equate to half a star, e.g., 9 on my blog rating would be a 4.5-star review. This is rounded up on my Amazon / Goodreads reviews.

• If a review is negative, I will contact you before publishing so you can decide if you want it to be published or not. I reserve the right to decline to review a book if I don’t enjoy it but will contact you first, and this would be very rare.

• I am open to accepting author interviews, guest posts and giveaways. Still, I must be contacted well in advance with complete information, including how you wish this to work before I commit.

• Once my review is finalised and published, I will send you a link to the review on my blog.

• Unless otherwise discussed, I do not sell or give away the review copies I receive.

• I will not entertain any requests that violate the above conditions and reserve the right to decline a review without providing a reason.
