Hello Readers, and welcome to my March Wrap Up!
Another busy month. This month, there have been many events, including three weekends out of the last four, where I have been away! Unfortunately, this has meant that I haven’t been reading as much as usual. However, it’s been full of lovely relaxing weekends, one with my family, one with the girls at work and another on a relaxing hen weekend. So, I have had lots of time in various hot tubs, in spa’s and some awesome food out.
Healthwise, it has been a good month, and I have started Cardiac Rehab, which is essentially an exercise programme to help strengthen your heart. It’s not quite what I expected. I am the only female in a group of five males and the only one this side of about 70! It’s good fun, though, and a great group of hilarious men have made it lots of fun!
Books Stats
I have read 16 books this month, that’s 5,418 pages for this month.
Here are this months stats:

Goal Review

I am steaming my way through this years goal of 100 books which I am really happy about, despite my total being slightly lower this month, real life comes first and I’ve had a great month.
I didn’t do so well with the Arc v Other this month though and I suspect that next month will be similar as I got a little bit too click happy and requested too many books on NetGalley so am currently playing catch up but May is looking less busy so far so I will be able to get more balance then. The same goes for the physical books, I have completed my goal of one a month but I would like it to be more ideally.
I am working through a couple of reading challenges, I haven’t decided which I am going to try to finish as yet as I am just adding to it with what I choose to read and will make a decision later in the year and complete whichever one I am closest to finishing I think.
I have been spent more time on Bookstagram and have grown my followers more this month, which is awesome! the only issue is I keep finding more and more books to add to my TBR Mountain and I keep buying more books too so the mountain is growing and my Wish list is growing too!
I have been continuing to read some poetry, I’m not keeping up with my aim (which I didn’t put on here to read one a day) but I am still getting through them so I’m happy with that anyway.
I have also been blogging regularly which is great because I love seeing all my reviews together in one place, even if nobody reads them!
If you want to know more about my goals for 2022 you can read my post here!
Book of the Month
My book of the month this month is ‘The People’s Princess’ by Flora Harding, I absolutely loved it. It’s not my usual type of reading but I enjoyed the comparisons of Diana, our Princess of Wales to Charlotte, the Queen that never was, the Princess of Wales back in the 1800s.
It was just released on 31st March so if you haven’t already got a copy I urge you to go and purchase one! My review for this can be found here.

Books Read
Here are the books I read in March, there are some gems in here and some not so great but good books.

My shortest book was NetGalley’s Book Advocate Toolkit by We Are Bookish at just 31 pages.
My longest book was A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder by Holly Jackson at 448 pages.
The review for each book is either already on the blog (just use the search to find or scroll back through the recent posts) or will be coming in the next couple of weeks as I’m a little behind at the moment.
Looking forward to…
I have many pre-release books to read this month, and I’m looking forward to some great book club picks. In addition, I have a quieter month with a lovely family weekend in the middle for Easter and my mother-in-law’s 80th Birthday. I’m hoping this means I also get more time to read.
I plan to book a couple of Indian head massages to help me relax and continue my personal goal of more relaxation and pampering this year. I foresee a lot of baths in my future too!
I will attempt to buy fewer books this month, as I have a massive TBR Mountain and have added considerably to it in the past month, mainly thanks to a couple of charity shops and book swap trips.
I also plan to bring you some other posts in addition to the usual book reviews, so watch this space for something new!
Until next month,
Happy reading xoxo
