Welcome to my February Wrap Up! Another busy month, there have been lots of big birthdays this month including two 40th and one 30th amongst family and friends. I have been working a few extra days which has been great and I have been planning some new exciting things along the way.
Health wise, it started as a positive month in that I don’t need a heart transplant yet (yippee!) but ended not quite so well as I’ve been unwell for the past few days. You win some, you lose some I guess!
I am changing things up a little this month as you’ll see below. I hope you enjoy it, let me know your thoughts in the comments along with anything else you would like to see here.
Books Stats
I have read 18 books this month, that’s 6,455 pages for this month.
Here are this months stats:

Goal Review

I feel like I have done better with my goals this month. Last month I forgot about the physical book but have made up for it with four this month. I am working through a couple of reading challenges, I haven’t decided which I am going to try to finish as yet as I am just adding to it with what I choose to read and will make a decision later in the year and complete whichever one I am closest to finishing I think.
I have been spending more time on Bookstagram this month too, I am slowly growing my followers, not an easy task when nobody you know reads! But, I’m finding that interacting more has helped and I have found some new books to add to my very large TBR mountain (let’s face it, ‘pile’ doesn’t really do it justice!)
I have been enjoying the poetry in my ‘A Poet for Every Day of the Year’ book by Allie Esiri and have read some Sylvia Plath in ‘Ariel’.
I have also been blogging regularly which is great because I love seeing all my reviews together in one place, even if nobody reads them!
If you want to know more about my goals for 2022 you can read my post here!
Book of the Month
My book of the month this month is ‘The Baby Group’ by S.E. Lynes, I absolutely loved it and I think it will take something exceptionally special to beat it this quarter. It was just released on 1st March so if you haven’t already got a copy I urge you to go and purchase one! My review for this can be found here.

Books Read
Here are the books I read in February, there are some gems in here and some not so great but good books.

My shortest book was Manifest by Roxie Nafousi at 150 pages.
My longest book was Watermelon by Marian Keyes at a huge 523 pages (probably about 200 pages more than necessary in my opinion!)
The review for each book is either already on the blog (just use the search to find or scroll back through the recent posts) or will be coming in the next couple of weeks as I’m a little behind at the moment.
Looking forward to…
March is going to be a super busy month for me, I am away three out of the four weekends so it should also be great fun with a work girls weekend away and a hen weekend included! I am also starting a new book club this week so, while i feel a little anxious about it, I am hoping it will go well and we will be able to grow a good, strong group of readers to discuss and share books with. I also have some other exciting things in the pipeline which I hope to see start up and, of course, we also see the beginning of Spring which I can’t wait for. Hopefully it will bring some sunshine and beautiful flowers and some leaves (and beautiful blossoms) to the trees which I am extra excited for this year as I missed so much of it with not being able to see well last year. There are already a lot of lambs in the local fields and more birds sing in the mornings, so many exciting and beautiful things.
Though of course there are other things happening in the world which I don’t want to go into here because I want this to be a safe and uplifting space away from the realities of life but needless to say our hearts are with those in Ukraine and those who don’t support Putin in Russia.
Until next month,
Happy reading xoxo
