Welcome to my book review for Denise Grover Swank’s Shades of Truth, book 6 in the Carly Moore Series. I am loving this series and can’t believe this is the penultimate book already. However, i am beyond excited for the next book, whihc is due out in Spring 2022.

Then she became nomadic, living in five cities, four states and ten houses over the course of ten years before she moved back to her roots. Her hobbies include witty Facebook comments (in own her mind) and dancing in her kitchen with her children. (Quite badly if you believe her offspring.) Hidden talents include the gift of justification and the ability to drink massive amounts of caffeine and still fall asleep within two minutes. Her lack of the sense of smell allows her to perform many unspeakable tasks. She has six children and hasn’t lost her sanity. Or so she leads you to believe.

As you probably already know, Denise Grover Swank is an auto-buy author for me. I don’t even read the blurb before purchasing. As this is the sixth in the series, I knew I would love it anyway.
Shades of Truth was an incredible rollercoaster ride following Carly Moore’s quest against Bart Drummond. You never know what’s coming next with Denise Grover Swank, and this is no exception. There are some heart-breaking twists here and an incredible journey into the unknown.
The revelations and betrayals are traumatic. Shades of truth were darker than the other Carly Moore Series but an incredible read.
The characters are already well known, but there are new and exciting revelations about them and new sides we haven’t seen before. Hank is still my favourite character, his love for Carly feels so genuine, and he’s a great guy at heart despite his past.
What a fantastic ending! Wholly unexpected, unpredictable, and perfect, leading into the last of the series, which is due to come out in Spring 2022.
Denise Grover Swank has pulled this incredible read out of the bag. I honestly don’t know how she does it! I am beyond excited for the conclusion of the series, and I have absolutely no idea what’s going to come next!
