For full disclosure, Denise Grover Swank is one of my favourite authors, I have read all of her books and eagerly await her new releases, which are always excellent, and this was no different!
I have been following Rose and Nealy Kate since the first book, 28 and a half wishes (if you haven’t read any go and start there!). after the last book I was hoping that things might change for Rose and James as I’ve always been #TeamSkeeter but alas it seems not to be…for now at least!
This was another great book, following all of the characters from the series, I enjoy seeing the characters develop more with each book and feel like they are people I actually know now, especially after so many books! Denise’s writing keeps you reading and involved with the story. The books are a great length for a fairly quick read that holds your imagination well and never gets boring!
There are so many different emotions in this book, laughter and tears and at times holding your breath and wishing for the best for the characters… you can’t wait to read the next chapter to find out what happens next. A great ending and nothing less than expected for the way things go in Rose’s life!
Looking forward to the next book in the series already!
