I loved catching up with the Bluebird Bay girls again and this was another great read. Poor Stephanie has been stuck in the past since her beloved husband died suddenly, she can’t find any inner peace, since discovering some hidden notes and cryptic clues, she decides it’s time to do some searching.
This is a lovely series of books following three sisters, while each book focuses mainly on one sister (in this case Stephanie) it also follows the stories of the others at the same time and their children and respective partners.
It’s refreshing to read about older characters, in their 40’s, each of them strong women in different stages of life, finding their own adventures and love. While I assume this is the last in the series it would be lovely to hear more of Max’s story, though she is much younger and at a different phase of life.
This series is light and easy to read, perfect for the beach.
